Meet The
Founder
BiltRite was founded in 2006 as a construction Quality Assurance service business. Founder Michael Munn launched the business leveraging 17 years of construction industry experience and five years in environmental sciences and industrial hygiene. During the recession of 2008, the brand pivoted into real estate home inspections. Combining his knowledge and experience, Michael implemented his own customized versions of industry-leading inspection processes based on a Building Science foundation, communicated in a format easy for anyone – clients and franchise owners alike – to understand.
In 2018, Michael partnered with Bill Kilgannon to grow, streamline, and refine the company. Bill now serves as the company’s President, and Michael’s daughter Emily Munn operates as Business Coach Operations Manager. Together, they make “The OG Three” of BiltRite Home Inspections, and the company continues to grow today.

Residential Home Inspections
We will check for any and all maintenance issues with plumbing, electric and HVAC systems along with the home’s roof, attic, crawl space, living spaces, exterior, lots and grounds, etc.
Construction Phase Inspections
Our inspectors come out to ensure that every stage of our clients’ new home, pre-slab, pre-drywall, and pre-closing, is meeting their expectations and needs and meets proper quality construction standards.
Preventative / Safety Assessments
We complete a full building inspection to include assessment of structural, functional/major systems and general life safety with drone camera aerial shots, infrared scanning with an extensive report to follow.
“11 Month” Inspections
Our team will ensure home safety before moving out of warranty.
